  • 3 Potato medium
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Red chili powder
  • ½ teaspoon Garam masala
  • ½ teaspoon Chaat Masala
  • 3 tablespoon Cilantro finely chopped

Instructions

  • Boil the potatoes until they are fork tender. Let it cool down and then peel the potatoes and mash it.
  • Add the spices; red chili powder, garam masala, chaat masala and then salt, green chilies and cilantro and mix well.
  • This will be our stuffing for the sandwich.
  • Take 2 bread slices and on one slice, apply a thin layer of butter. Sprinkle some chaat masala over the butter (optional).
  • Spread green chutney on the other slice.
  • Take a good scoop of the potato masala and spread it evenly on one of the bread slices.
  • Close both the slices and apply butter on the outside as well.
  • I used my sandwich maker to cook / grill the sandwich. You can also cook it on the stove top in a grill pan.
  • Repeat the same with the rest of the bread slices and serve with hot sauce or ketchup.
  • My boys love it with ketchup.
