Fettuccine Alfredo (Classic and Creamy) Recipe - Vegetarian
Fettuccine Alfredo is one of my favorite classic Italian dishes. This is very filling dish and can be make in less than 30 minutes.

- 1 ib Fettuccine pasta
- 2 cups Heavy cream
- 4 cloves Garlic Minced finely
- 4 tablespoon Butter
- 4 oz Cream cheese
- 1 cup Grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon Crushed red peppers Optional
- to taste Black pepper
- ⅛th teaspoon Grated nutmeg
- 1 tablespoon Parsley Fresh or dried
- if needed Salt
Cook the pasta in salted water based on directions, until al dente and drain.
In a wide pan, melt the butter. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 2 mins until aromatic.
Now add the cream cheese and mix until the cream cheese is softened.
Add the heavy cream and season with pepper and crushed red chili flakes. Simmer for about 10 mins stirring frequently.
Remove from heat and add the parmesan cheese. Stir to melt the cheese and then add the nutmeg and parsley.
Add the pasta and toss to mix. If the sauce is too thick, add little milk or cream to bring it to right consistency.
Serve Fettuccine Alfredo hot!!!
