This simple Single serve fruit salad bowl is the best dessert when you have a sweet craving. A great choice of fruit salad to serve for breakfast as well as snack.
Sometimes the simplest of the recipes are the best. When deciding what to make for the third day of single-serve desserts theme, my son asked me to make a Single Serve Fruit Salad Bowl.
My boys love fruits and will eat them any time of the day. They have fruits for breakfast, along with lunch and also as a snack. I usually have a choice of 4 or 5 weeks in a particular week and serve them in turn.
Last year when I went to India, I noticed that my aunt was packing different cut fruits, all mixed in a box for snacks for my cousins. She gave a bowl of the mixed fruits to my boys and they liked the idea of eating them mixed up instead of just eating one at a time. So, at times I chop up a few fruits together and give them as a fruit bowl.
When making fruit salad for a crowd, I usually use my Fruit salad with Mango pulp recipe or make the Mexican-style fruit salad called the Bionico.
Today, when I cut a few fruits and mixed them and was getting ready to serve them to the boys, they asked me to top them with some whipped cream. That is when I quickly made this delicious and healthy whipped cream and it was the perfect pairing.
It tasted amazing and we were discussing how a simple fruit salad can taste this exotic with just an addition of whipped cream.
I used whatever fruits I had in hand. The easy fruit salad today has apples, bananas, grapes, mangoes, and strawberries. You could use any fruit of your choice. You could also use store-bought whipped cream, but if you make it a little planned, then use freshly whipped cream for even better flavor.
My other two single-serve desserts that I made this week - Single serve Microwave Carrot Cake and Single Serve Microwave Brownie.

correct, mixing fruits together makes a great bowl with variety of nutrients from different fruits. Kids enjoy them more as compare to single fruit. Loved it.
